Taco Tuesday

So let's start this off with one of my all time favorite dishes: Tacos!  In our house, this is served at least one Tuesday a month.


  • 6 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 4 Tbsp Onion Flakes
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Mexican Oregano
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar


  1. Mix it up and store in an airtight container.
  2. Cook hamburger meat over medium-high heat until brown and crumbly.
  3. Drain fat, then add 1/4 cup of the mix and 2/3 cup of water per pound of meat.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is nearly evaporated, stirring occasionally.
